Registration Instructions

Hints to help with Registration

Sometimes the registration process can be a little confusing so here are some tips which may be helpful. This SportsConnect (formerly Blue Sombrero) platform is widely used for sports teams registrations and is designed to offer programs to qualified participants.

Look for the "Continue" buttons as you go through the process from step to step and also you may wish to try a different web browser or computer as occasionally there is a browser compatibility or pop-up blocker issue. See the step-by-step guide on the web link below and references there from Blue Sombrero for extra help.

First you have to create an account with the "register" option and login. (If you already have an account and just cannot remember your login info then please try the "forgot username or password" option first rather than creating multiple accounts)

Second you need to create participants by adding your son(s) and/or daughter(s) and their basic age information which will allow them to be offered programs for which they are qualified - appropriate age groups and girls or boys or coed programs.

Next, under each player participant, there are programs listed which are available and open to them for signup at the current time.

You select the program(s) and accept a liability waiver electronically and then make payment arrangements either credit card or pay by check.

After successful sign up you receive a confirmation and a slot is allocated for your participant(s).

There has been sponsorship by Dick's Sporting Goods which sometimes issues coupons for our users.

There have also has online guides, a helpline and faqs to assist with the sign up process and other questions.

It may be helpful to ask one of your friends who is familiar with the Blue Sombrero service for assistance or read the instructions or contact Blue Sombrero if you are having a lot of difficulty. Hopefully this will help you complete the signup process.
